Swedish Researchers Simulate Three-Armedness

Sweden’s biggest daily newspaper just reported that Swedish scientists have managed to get volunteers to feel what is happening to a rubber arm, placed next to their real right arm. The findings have generated more hope for future applications for handicapped patients, and have also generated controversy about the definition of “self”.
